About
Founded on January 17, 2008, City of God is a group blog started by Keith, Dan, and Andrew. Keith wondered if bloggers, like the robotic lions of Voltron, could be even stronger if combined on a group blog. Keith asked Andrew and he agreed that a group blog would be a good idea. Dan, on the other hand, simply heard “Voltron” and wanted to be involved. As the blog continues to grow, we intend to invite more authors. If you want to check out what each of us writes about individually, see Contributors’ Blogs section in the sidebar.
A final note: the authors of this blog have a variety of backgrounds and a variety of points of view – this is not going to be an echo chamber. City of God is an attempt at dialogue on a broad range of topics that might loosely be grouped under the terms religion and culture – at least that’s our intent as of right now (early 2008). It probably goes without saying, but the views expressed here are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the authors’ employers, academic institutions, or churches. If you want to learn more about the authors and readership of City of God, you can also check out our Facebook group.
Comment Policy
We generally try to keep the comments section as wide-open as follows, and so far, this hasn’t given us much trouble. All we ask is that everyone keep a respectful attitude towards each other. We’ve been able to get quite a wide variety of interlocutors in our comments and we’re richer for it.
Images
If we’re using something that you created (images, illustrations, et cetera) don’t freak out, just let us know that you’re the creator/owner of said work and we can take it down if you’d rather we do so.

I am likewise interested in these 2 subjects.
Can you recommend any reading?
thanks
We’ve batted around the idea of a reading list, or pages where the various authors can share their faves, but so far we’ve not gone far in that direction.
I’m into Pete Rollins among others, Keith likes Tim Keller’s output. I think all of us are fans of Dostoevsky – but I don’t know if that helps.
I am looking for the Andrew who studied my lectures at Southborough L’Abri in May of 2008
Mr. Ingram,
I am sorry I did not notice this until now… I hope you see this reply. I really appreciated your thoughts, as I hope I expressed.
Blessings,
-Andrew

Yes?
Ahh..you had me at Voltron. And I am working on a paper about postmodernism and Christianity – now there’s a delightful topic.
Thanks, Janna! Just FYI (and everyone else reading this thread), we’ve moved url’s to http://www.cityofgodblog.com
Thanks again! (Oh, and please do jump in on postmodernism related discussions! (or any others))
