Scarcity

Is it just a temporary spasm that we are having global food riots right now? With population continuing to rise the price of food and the fuel to transport it to the urban centres where most of us now live will surely continue to rise. It reminds me of this post I wrote a while ago, and it worries me. We had better pay attention to this one folks.

I haven’t really noticed any changes in my Starbuck’s coffee.

Understatement of the year from the article:

“Riots today mean you need a solution tomorrow.”

But Tim Horton’s just upped their prices two days ago :-)
