Bene Diction has a longish post on the looming possibility of a sexual abuse scandal affecting Southern Baptists. The denomination is wrapping itself in its decentralized structure as an explanation. Does anyone think that will be acceptable if this story breaks in a big way? Does anyone think that is acceptable regardless?
